E.M. BRONER AND NAOMI NIMROD
In the Spring of 1975, in Haifa, three women assembled. They were: a Member of Parliament(Marcia Freedman, American-born member of the Israeli Knesset), a social worker (Naomi Nimrod) and Esther Broner.
They decided to have a different kind of seder: one in which "the invited men would prepare the meal, serve, and clean. The women would contemplate the traditional Haggadah and write new and relevant prayers."
The Haifa Seder would spark the writing of The Women's Haggadah.
