WRITING HIS OWN HAGGADAH
That fall, Arthur Waskow began writing his own Haggadah, or prayerbook. He found the Haggadah he had been given when he turned 13, and to this he added "passages from King and Thoreau, Ginsberg and Gandhi, the Warsaw Ghetto and a Russian rabbi named Tamaret - wove them all into a new Telling of the tale of freedom."
This Haggadah was eventually called: The Freedom Seder.
