Arthur Waskow and Politics
Arthur Waskow "worked as a legislative assistant for a U.S. Congressman, and through the 1960's, as one of the founding Fellows of the Institute for Policy Studies, wrote several books on military strategy, disarmament, nonviolence, and social change, and was active in opposing the Vietnam War. He co-authored `A Call to Resist Illegitimate Authority' and was elected by the citizens of the District of Columbia to the 1968 Democratic National Convention."
